The most difficult aspect of owning a pet is the possibility of them falling ill unexpectedly, which can lead to unforeseen costs. We therefore recommend taking out pet insurance for your animal if you are unable to cover potential unexpected expenses. There are various insurance providers for dogs, cats, rabbits, and even birds.
Tailored preventive care for your pet also involves costs for periodic health checks, vaccinations, deworming, and flea and tick control. You may choose to receive preventive care through our so-called VetPlan, which provides monthly reminders to ensure no treatments are missed. This minimizes the risk of overlooking a periodic check-up or deworming treatment.

For surgeries and dental treatments, a price estimate can always be provided in advance, ensuring you know exactly what to expect. Should unforeseen additional costs arise—such as dental X-rays during treatment—you will be contacted during the procedure to discuss this, unless prior arrangements have been made.
